THE WAY OUT OF DEPRESSION

  REST Unang-una, one way out of depression is rest, sleep and peace. Kailangan mo ng recess. Isa sa mga Sampung Utos ng Diyos ang pamamahinga. Exodus 34:21 “Six days you shall labor but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during the plowing season and harvest you must rest.” Bawat anim na araw ng pagtatrabaho ay babawian at puputulin mo. Magpapahinga ka sa ikapitong araw. Hindi dapat paggiyerahan kung kailan yung ikapitong araw na yun. Ang pinag-uusapan natin ay dapat may break o magkaroon ng pahinga ang bawat anim na araw na tuloy-tuloy na trabaho. Kapag pa tag-ani o taniman, magpapahinga ka pa rin. Alam nyo, maigsi ang panahon ng tag-ani at taniman lalo doon lalo doon sa ibang bansa dahil nag-iiba ang klima. Pagka hindi ka kumilos nang mabilis, maiiwan ka ng panahon. LOOK FOR THE GOOD

  This is very much related to rule number one. Hebrews 12:2 Let us fix our eys on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith.         The context here is that if you are in a Christian community and fix your eyes on people, mawawalan ka ng gana. May mga mangilan-ngilang tao na nakakagana rin sila. But if you look deep enough, you will realize that your heroes are just like you and me. So, nawawalan ka ng gana. Nadi-disillusion ka dahil nakikita mo ang kanilang weaknesses. Kaya ang sabi, fix your eyes on Jesus. Do not look only at the faults and failures of others. But look for the best in them and the positive aspect of all circumstances.         Pag sinabing fix your eyes on Jesus, it means to focus on Jesus or to look for Jesus in people and fix your eyes on the part of Jesus in people.
