Alexander the Great conquered the known world but he did not know
when to stop. That led to his down fall.
1Timothy
6:9-10 People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many
foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the
love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people eager for money, have
wandered from the faith and they pierced themselves with many griefs.
It is
not really money that is the source of all evil but the love of it. On the
other hand, lack of money is also the root of many evils. Kaya dapat naman
talagang meron ka kahit man lang minimum. Yung mga pamilya na sobrang
nasa-sacrifice ang family life nila dahil palaki nang palaki ang negosyo should
know when to stop.
You should know when to stop. Especially if you are paying a high
emotional and spiritual price for your continuous enrichment. Know when to stop
because more money does not mean more happiness. But I tell you also, no money
means no happiness also. We must not romanticize it. Mahirap magpakabanal kapag
gutom. Pero pag busog ka na, tama na rin di ba? Dahil kapag hindi ka pa
tumigil, impasto na ang kasunod noon. Mahirap din yun.
Proverbs 25:27 It is not good to eat too
much honey, nor is it desirable to seek one’s own honor.
Proverbs
30:8-9 Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches
but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you
and say, “Who is the Lord” Or I may become too poor and steal and so dishonor
and the name of my God. Napakagandang mga paalala. Lord, ayoko pong maging
mahirap. Baka mapilitan akong magnakaw, mapahiya kayo. Ayoko namang sobrang
Winners know their rightful place. They do not talk too much. They do
not trust blindly or commit easily. Winners avoid offending people. They make
themselves useful and value their good reputation. Winners are above reproach.
They are dignified. They avoid negative attention. And they know when to stop.
We
owe it to God to be winners. Alangan
Dapat like Father, like son.
Know what it takes to be a winner. Know the marks of a winner. Avoid the ways
of losers.
