  Alone does not always have to be defined as lonely. Develop fellowship with yourself. Sino sa atin ang nakikipag-fellowship with ourselves. Yan ang talagang di ka masi-zero dahil lagi namang dalawa yung sarili mo. So kung marunong kang mag-enjoy ng company ng sarili mo, malayo ka sa lungkot. There’s the company of your body and soul. Ecclesiastes 1:13 I devoted myself to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under the heaven. Wala naman siyang kasamang nag-aral. Pwedeng may assistant ka, may tagadala ka ng libro pero yung journey ng mind mo into ideas, you do alone. Hindi tayo dapat natatakot mag-isa. May mga panahon na dapat ka talagang mag-isa and to be quiet so that you can hear your mind think. Those corridors of aloneness need not be defined as loneliness because we find enlightenment in moments when we are in solitude. Dr. Solitude is one of the greatest professors of wisdom.   Yung Sodom nga hindi wawasakin kung mayroon lang na kaunting matuwid. Alang-alang sa tamang ginagawa, hindi dapat wasakin ang kapwa dahil sa isang mali—at   dapat suriin kung mali nga ba o akala lang ng iba ay mali. At pag winasak ang isang tao dahil sa isa nyang mali, walang matitirang tao; dapat wasakin lahat.

  Dumidilim ba ang buwan? Dumidilim ba ang araw? Dumidilim ba ang mga bituin? Yes. Ang sinasabi ditto before the light of the sun and the moon and the stars seem dim to you, as if rain clouds remain over you. In other words, remember God before your vision deteriorates. Bago dumilim ang araw , ang buwan, ang mata, alalahanin na ang Diyos. Kung minsan lumabo ang mga mata sa dami ng nakitang kasalanan, hindi na tuloy makabasa ngayon ng Bibliya. Kaya sasabihin nung iba, hindi na ako   makapag-memorize ng mga verses, Malabo na kasi ang aking mata. Gusto nyo ng Braille? Pwede namang kapain yan. Mga bulag nga nakakapagbasa kung talagang gugustuhin. But when is the good time to remember the Lord? Before your vision deteriorates.   Ecclesiastes is really one of the frankest books of the Bible. One of the most direct. Wala na siyang inilihim. Pati yung mga disenchanment nya sa katotohanan. Anong mga sinabi dito ni Solomon? Justice is not always the rule. Justice is not always the immediate rule, at least. The criminals don’t always get punished or criminals don’t always get quickly punished. Good citizens are not always honored or not always quickly honored. Hindi lahat ng mabuti napi-premyuhan at hindi lahat ng masama napaparusahan. Kaya ang mabuti pa, maging mabuti ka na lang kahit hindi laging biglang nagkakaroon ng premyo ang mabubuti at hindi laging napaparusahan ang masasama. May point nga naman siya. Tutal hindi natin mababago ang takbo ng buhay. Hindi naman laging may justice, get as much out of life na lang. Huwag ka nang masyadong magpakatalino at kung anu-ano pa. Huwag mo nang isipin ang lahat. Sabi niya, enjoy food, enjoy drink, enjoy a good time. Kung kaya nyo rin lang, huwag nyong tipirin ang...

  At sabi niya, do not strain yourself trying to understand everything. Siya na mismo na pinakamatalino sa balat ng lupa ang nagsasabi, “Alam nyo marami akong hindi maintindihan. Eto meaningless sa akin. Eto meaningless. Eto meaningless. Ang talino ko na nga hindi ko maintindihan, kayo pa.” Sabi niya, huwag nyo na lang intindihin lahat. Huwag nyo na lang i-research lahat, huwag nyo na lang bulatlatin lahat. Lulungkot lang kayo. The more a man knows, the sadder he gets. Why? Kasi nalalaman niya ang lahat ng kalungkutan ng buhay tuloy. Or, nalaman niyang hindi pala niya kayang malaman lahat, nalulungkot tuloy siya. Kaya sabi, “Huwag na kayong sobrang magpakatalino.’ Do not try to know everything. Try to know many things. Try to know as many as possible. But not everything, because it is impossible.   Kaya one of the keys to life’s   enjoyment   ay ang pagtulong at pagbibigay sa kapwa. Mabuting gawin yun. Matalinong gawin yun. Share what you have with people because you don’t know what disaster may come to you. Eh, kung ang dami-dami mo ngang kayamanan, sinolo mo, tapos ninakaw lang o kaya’y naubos, o kaya’y nalugi ka at nasunugan, bebelatan ka pa ng mga tao imbes na maawa sa’yo at tulungan ka. Sapagkat noong ikaw ang mayroon, hindi ka naging mabuti sa kanila. Itinuturo sa atin ng Bibliya pati ang ganyang maliliit pero praktikal na bagay. Do not put all of your eggs in one basket. Do not put all of your info in one diskette. Sabi ng Bibliya, magbigay ka daw ang portion sa seven o eight people. Huwag lang isa ang tinutulungan mo.      God prepared a future for me. He has a plan for me. At dadalhin Nya ako sa future na yun. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."      Sabi ni Lord, "Alam ko ang plano ko para sa inyo," Kayo, may plano ba kayo sa buhay nyo? Siguro kung minsan mayroon, kung minsan wala. Pero sabi ni Lord, "Ako mayroon, I have a plan for you. Ang buhay mo hindi ala tsamba. Hindi kung ano na lang ang mangyari. Mayroon akong definite plan for you. It's not just that I have a plan, but I know the plan; I know it very well." And what is that plan? A plan to prosper you. A plan not to harm you. A plan to give you hope and a future.
