Lack of effort to understand the other person—to see things
from the other person’s point of view. We break up, quarrel, fight, lose
people, hurt and get hurt NEEDLESSLY simply because we insist on looking at
things ONLY OUR WAY. We assign and impose meanings on what people say or do, do
not say or do not do without bothering to check if we are right. We take
offense when we should not. We become defensive when we should be open. We
become offensive when we should have been more caring. All because of our
limited, narrow, myopic viewpoints which are usually proven wrong over time.
All because of our self-serving attempts at protecting ourselves from
non-existent threats. All because we are too engrossed with ourselves. SAYANG
ANG MGA RELASYON. Sinisira ng ating mga katangahan.
