Sa tingin po ninyo, kung 1 to 10 ang dapat maintindihan sa Bible with 10 being the highest, ano ang score ng majority of Christians in understanding the Scripture?

You mean understanding the literal meaning, the contextual meaning then the symbolic meaning of the teachings in the Bible to be able to apply it correctly in today’s life? From 1 to 10, how much do people understand—as I see it? 5-6 or below. At kasama ako dun sa ang score ay 5-6 or below.

WHAT WE UNDERSTAND IS LITTLE; WHAT WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND IS MUCH. There are very, very, very few people that I think have a high understanding of the spirit and content of Scripture—and those few are not preachers.

Masama bang magninang/magninong sa binyag at sa kasal ang isang born-again?

Isang maselang bagay! Ang kaselanan ng bagay na ito’y cultural. Tayong mga Pilipino ay maka-kamag-anak, mahilig makipagkapwa at mahilig makipagkaibigan. Part of our culture yung positive na pakikisama. Noong dumating yung Protestantism, because they don’t have child baptism, itinuro ng mga missionaries sa atin yung napaka-simplistic approach na ‘Humiwalay kayo, huwag nyong gawin. Dapat ba talagang magbigay tayo ng ikapu sa simbahan?

Una, nasa Bible that we should give to the Lord ten percent of our income. Pero dapat rin nating ingatan kung kanino natin ibinibigay. Talaga bang kay Lord napupunta o kung saan lang? Dapat nating iniingatan ito. Kaya tayo nire-require ni Lord na magbigay sapagkat He promised to return it a hundred fold. The Lord asks us to give so He can give in return.
