Yes, compromise na yun. You must explain to them why you
cannot attend.
The doctrine of the Catholic mass is, the priest calls Christ
from heaven and crucifies Him again in a bloodless way for the forgiveness of
the sins of those who attend the mass.
But the Lord said He died once for all,
so to call Him everytime there is a mass is unscriptural.
Another unscriptural
thing about it is that it teaches that the Lord’s supper is not just a memorial
but something you take for the forgiveness of your sins.
Tapos, sa mass,
lumuluhod pa sa mga rebulto, tumatawag pa kung kani-kanino. Kay rami-raming mga
commandments ang nabi-break when you attend the mass.
So you must explain to
your parents very clearly why you cannot attend.
But don’t be disrespectful,
always be polite. Remember, if the will of our human parents conflicts with the
will of our real, spiritual parent, you must know where your loyalty lies.
