Many people live a drab life. Pati ang panaginip nila ay
black and white dahil walang kulay, walang beauty ang kanilang buhay. Let’s
enjoy life and celebrate it! The Lord said, “ I have come that you may have
life and have it to the full.”
Is it fun to be a Christian? Yes, of course, but we have a
different form of fun—it’s deeper, nicer at mas masaya. Hindi naman tayo
tatanggalan ng Diyos ng kaligayahan as in “ Aha, tinanggap mo akong Lord and
Savior!
What the Lord does is release us from our hang-ups para
sarili from the memories of the past, the only way out, the only remedy is to
forgive. Then you will feel the release from bondage. This is freedom—parang
may isang pyramid of Egypt ang binuhat mula sa ating ulo’t balikat, sasabihin
natin, “Ay, naku! Ang tagal ko palang binubuhat yun. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na
ang sarap palang wala.” You probably don’t know what you’re missing if you
don’t forgive. Freedom and forgiveness must be enjoyed by all. So get rid of
your anger.
Matthew 6:14-15
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your
heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their
sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
Let’s forgive for two important reasons. First, God
commanded it and we cannot be forgiven unless we forgive. Second, only when we
forgive will we really be free to enjoy life. A lack of forgiveness is a heavy
burden, don’t carry it.
Matthew 11:28
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will
give you rest.”
The Lord is willing to release us so we can manage our
anger or prevent it from enslaving us. Forgive; in forgiveness there is
freedom. Kanino kaya tayo galit?
inyo noong araw and in the recesses of your mind ay naaalala pa nyo siya.
sa kanya, “Bullet day, I will giant you!” (Balang araw, paghihigantihan kita!)
Talagang paghihigantihan kita!” I will coconut you!” (Ibubuko kita!) Kung galit
na galit tayong naghihintay ng pagkakataong gumanti, don’t do it. Forgive those
who sinned against you and be free!
O may
May nakagalit tayong tao minsan—employer, officemate,
But start to
forgive these people in your past. Make this monumental decision today to
forgive and be happy.
